6 TikTok Nutritious Snacks Children with Autism or SPD Will Love

There’s no need to worry about your child not liking their snack anymore, because these five TikTok recipes use gentle textures, familiar flavors, and low-mess prep that kids actually enjoy.

1. Frozen Banana Yogurt Bites

These little bites are smooth and easy to eat, perfect for kids who like cold, uniform textures.

Recipe:

  • 1 large banana

  • 3 Tbsp coconut yogurt (plain or vanilla)

  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter or seed butter

  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds or chia seeds (optional)

Slice the banana (thicker slices will flatten larger). Arrange on a baking tray, then press each round with the bottom of a glass until just a few millimeters thick. Spread a little coconut yogurt over each slice. Drizzle with peanut or seed butter (thin with a splash of water if needed). Freeze for 1 hour. Let soften for a couple of minutes before serving. Store in an airtight container in the freezer once fully frozen (so they don’t stick together) for up to 2 months.

Note: using regular yogurt works as well!
